REAL Advocacy Team

Recovering from Everyday Addictive Lifestyles Program is the Richmond City Justice Center’s (RCJC) premiere program. REAL’s purpose is reducing recidivism through ensuring residents (inmates) are prepared for re-entry into society. Volunteers provide mentoring and support where needed as residents find their place back in society:  provide a Sunday dinner family meal for those living in the REAL transitional house or drop off food during the week; serve as a financial or budget coach;  serve as a mentor/friend support system; serve as a resource advisor for real life issues such as clothing, food, transportation, identification, and employment.Contact:  Nancy Warman, Director of Servant  Ministry, 355-1779, ext. 333 or nwarman@doers.org.
