Christ is the image of God, and through the visual arts God has made profound connections with artists and viewers alike. Come for a tour of religious art at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, from Byzantine sculptures and liturgical furniture to Russian orthodox icons, guided by Kathy Gasperini, one of the museum’s docents. Cost of the tour is free to VMFA members or $7 for non-members. This tour is limited to 20 participants; registration for this field trip is closed. Contact: the Rev.
